With our extensive experience working with over 30 jurisdictions in the greater Indianapolis area, we have the expertise to effectively guide you through the complexities of all permitting processes.

We offer a tailored approach to the permitting process to fit each jurisdiction’s requirements. You can rely on our team to navigate the appropriate steps, ensuring a smooth and successful experience for your project.

We have established partnerships with several private location companies, allowing us to seamlessly facilitate your private utility locates. When you choose this service, we take care of all the legwork on your behalf. This includes obtaining estimates, scheduling the required services, and even bundling the service and convenience fees into your final balance.

Our aim is to make the process as convenient and straightforward as possible for you, ensuring that your private utility locates are efficiently and effectively completed without any unnecessary burden on your end.

Our local fence company takes pride in being available year-round to serve you. Our installation timelines exhibit seasonal variations. During the late fall, winter and early spring, we typically experience shorter turnaround times. We only halt installation during inclement weather for the safety and efficiency of our teams, as well as for holidays.

You can expect crews to arrive from 7:00 to 9:30 in the morning. This all depends on weather and the distance from the warehouse.

Depending on the style and length, the project will be completed in one to two days. Wood jobs take a little longer because of their complexity.

A low maintenance option for non privacy would be the black wrought iron aluminum. If you want to capture privacy, then a low maintenance option is PVC vinyl. General maintenance for either of these styles is to keep them clean. Most people will pressure wash once or twice a year and cut back any limbs or branches that are getting close to the fence.

Generally, you’re allowed to build on a property line as long as another fence doesn’t exist there already. Our professional fence installers encourage setbacks of at least three feet whenever another fence is nearby. Many HOA communities issue setback rules from neighboring fences.

The cost of your fence will depend on the size of your property, the layout of your fence and the materials you choose. If you’re looking for an affordable fence company, we have fencing for every budget and we also offer financing options. For an accurate estimate, get a free, same-day quote now!

We kick things off with a free consultation, which can be done over the phone, at your property or at our shop. We’ll talk about your needs, location, property, preferences and budget. Then, we’ll provide you with your fencing options and discuss the cost and pros and cons of each to help you make the best decision.

Once you’ve selected the style of fence and materials and you’ve sent in a 50% deposit (you can pay online or with a check), our fence designers will plan and build your fence. Meanwhile, our other team members will get your city permit and help you through the HOA approval process. We’ll check in regularly to keep you in the loop.

When your fence is ready, our professional crew will have you approve the final design. They’ll use precise measurements, a knowledge of environmental and geographic factors and quality equipment to install your fence correctly and securely.

Our Indianapolis fencing experts can help. You can be as hands-on or hands-off as you’d like during the process. We’ll assess your property and needs to make smart recommendations. We’ll also show you examples of our past fencing projects and samples of materials. Whatever your goals, our team will deliver a fencing solution that meets them.

At BlueBird Fence, we pride ourselves on professional, timely installation. The exact timeline will depend on your specific fence and property. However, most of our standard installations are completed in two to five weeks from your initial consultation, which includes measuring your property, ordering materials, designing and fabricating your fence and getting city permits and, if needed, HOA approval.

Yes. We keep pre-made fences, as well as sorted-out customized pieces to fit any type of property in stock at our shop. This lets us perform expedited installations.

Absolutely. Our Indianapolis fence company has a vast selection of fencing materials, styles and colors to choose from. We can custom order elements, including ornamental fence poles and specialty lumber.

Our fence designers will then work with you to create the exact fence you want. You’ll also be able to adjust everything from the height to the space between the panels.

Often, our team can even provide options and alternatives you might not have considered, such as high-low fence transitions, pergolas, gates and the addition of lattice or other custom design elements.

You could save money on labor by installing a fence yourself if you already have all of the equipment on-hand, are using off-the-shelf materials and are knowledgeable about fence installation and the tasks involved.

However, for most people, hiring a professional fence installer will actually be more affordable in the long run. This is because you’ll get better quality and craftsmanship, a longer lasting fence and huge time savings.

If you’re interested in a particular fencing material or a custom design, we have access to to-the-trade sources and the carpentry, design and fabrication skills to give you the exact fence you want without breaking the bank.

Our fencing experts understand property lines, drainage and other factors that ensure your fence will be installed correctly and won’t run into problems in the future. They can also respond to any challenges that may come up during the installation process and remedy them as cost-effectively as possible.
